You are so right. Many modification companies just push the sell, but aren't looking out for the homeowners best interst. Often times they do lower the payments, but the clients are still struggling and lose the home eventually. Homeowners have analyze their situation and decide if they can afford slightly lower payments on their home or if they should short sell and get into a property that fits their budget! Great post.
