Onancock Harbor and town is rated one of the best cruiser stops on the east coast with its many on-shore amenities. The ferry from Onancock to Tangier Island passes by daily from May thru October and one can set their watch by its passing. It is a lovely day trip for visiting guests. The inter-coastal waterway passes here in Chesapeake Bay and the boating "snow birds" pass by southbound in Fall and northbound in the Spring . Most stop over in Onancock Harbor passing by us on their way in and out. The sunsets from our home are unparalleled and are a treat to look forward to every evening.
